Feng Wei now is the Deputy Secretary General of the Oil Painting Committee, Fujian Province, the Secretary General of the Youth Academy, Fujian Province, the Associate Professor of Fujian radio and television University and the Adjunct Associate Professor of Academy of Fine Arts, Fujian Normal University.
About 2 years ago, Feng Wei held an exhibition at the Art Museum of Fujian,and it has caused high praise. The president of China Central Academy of Fine Arts Fan Dian made a comments for his solo exhibition about" Feng Wei is towards native culture in the orientation of art concepts and language, especially in the spiritual world for brushing the interference and moving towards the clear state."

In October 2014, Feng Wei came to Taipei and Tainan to do academic visit and creation, and make communication with the art museum curator in Taiwan Art University Li Zongren and Taiwan University of the Arts fine arts department director Chen Kuangyi, Professor of Li Chengji Minnan Culture Research Center of the Chenggong University and Taiwan art critic Zhang Li Howe.
Based on the junction of the history and humanity between Taiwan and Fujian, it was the first time that Feng Wei was recommended to Taiwan University of Arts for holding the solo oil creation exhibition about Returning Home with Spirit by the station of Taiwan art director Zhang Xinzhi of the artron.net in May . Zhang Xinzhi as a curator thought that Feng Wei's painting is like a mirror, it reflects the common sense about remains of Chinese culture.

The theme of Cross-Strait Academic Forum about the contemporary context of the landscape picture about Taiwan and mainland was held in Taiwan on 6 of the opening day, it had invited Chen Kuangyi, Li Zongren, the professor Li Yumin, dean of Academy of Fine Arts, Fujian Normal Universityand and other experts to discuss.
